As the first batch who entered the new curriculum and caught up by the prevalence of the pandemic, three (3) Dream Project Scholars were able to graduate with flying colors this year.
Joan Sulayao graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Faith surely keeps promises for she was able to cope with the expectations and finish her studies. Hard work paid off for her after graduating Magna Cum Laude last August 5, 2022.
Lezel Gotera graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship on July 20, 2022 at Universidad De Manila. She is a scholar from the Dream Project Category and one of the pioneer beneficiaries of the Sorok Dream Project Scholarship since 2012. Despite the financial difficulties that her family faces, she was able to carry out her education and she was even a consistent honor student for 10 years.
Kyla Jayari took a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (Major in Physical Education) at Western Mindanao State University. She was a scholar under the Faith Category and had been a beneficiary since 2015. Despite the difficulties brought about by the pandemic, she managed to pass all her subjects and finish her course on May 26,2022.
Sorok Dream Project Scholarship is one of the initiatives of Sorok Uni Foundation that assists the Underprivileged Filipino Youth and Children by providing access to quality education. This year, 269 students were enrolled in the scholarship.
